Daily Pastoral Prayer of Faith & Blessing
As the pastor of Journey Church, I promise to pray for the members of this church, if at all possible, every single day. This is the prayer I pray for you. Please in return, remember to keep me and my family if your prayers as well!
Heavenly Father, In the mighty Name of Jesus, I come before You as the under-shepherd of this flock, entrusted by the Chief Shepherd, to lift up before You the precious people You have blessed me to pastor. I thank You for every member, every family, every child, every youth, every senior, and every visitor You have brought to this church. I thank You that each one is fearfully and wonderfully made, created for Your glory, and called for such a time as this. These are Your sheep; I thank You for the privilege of serving You and them as their pastor. Help me to do my job well. I lift them up in prayer right now.
Father, I bless them today. Father, I speak the blessing over Your people today in the mighty Name of Jesus. I declare Your Word over their lives, for it is written that Your Word shall not return void, but it shall accomplish what You please and prosper in the thing whereunto You send it (Isaiah 55:11). May they always be the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath (Deuteronomy 28:13). May they be blessed with health and healing, for by the stripes of Jesus they were healed (1 Peter 2:24). May they be blessed with provision and abundance, for You shall supply all their need according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). May they be blessed with peace, for You will keep them in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You (Isaiah 26:3). May they be blessed with strength, for they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them (Philippians 4:13). And blessed with victory, for greater is He that is in them than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let Your blessing overtake them and make them a testimony of Your goodness in the land of the living. May their lives be good, happy and healthy and free from struggle and sorrow.
Salvation & Spiritual Growth Lord, I thank You for the gift of salvation in Jesus Christ. For those in the church, our families, and friends who have not yet made Jesus Christ their Savior, I pray that today will be the day of salvation for them. Draw their hearts by Your Spirit, open their eyes to the truth, and bring them from darkness into light. Soften their hearts to receive the seed of the gospel. Cause them to be in the right situation conducive to repentance and receiving salvation. Cause the perfect people to be in their path to witness to them the right words at the right time. I call the backslidden and church hurt back into position; restored, healed and productive. For every believer, I pray they be rooted and grounded in love, growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior. Keep them from sin and distractions. Let the Word of Christ dwell in them richly and let their faith not fail in the day of trial. Let them all be strong in faith and filled with Holy Spirit daily. May they be full of peace, joy, love and sound mind.
Revival & Baptism in the Holy Ghost Father, baptize every believer in the Holy Ghost and fire, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, and with boldness to witness. Let revival fire burn in their hearts, in their homes, and in this church. Fill them with Holy Spirit daily in great measure. Let the wind of Pentecost blow again in their lives. Let them walk in the gifts and power of the Spirit, demonstrating the Kingdom of God wherever they go. Fill them with the oil of Joy. May rivers of living water flow out of their spirits. May they produce the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. May they walk in the Spirt that they not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Keep them from sin and temptation.
Knowing & Living in God’s Will Father, I ask that they know and walk in Your perfect will for their lives in general, in the specific calling and assignment which You have placed on each one. Let them delight to do Your will. Open their hearts to receive direction from the Holy Spirit and let their steps be ordered by the Lord. Help them to be teachable, coachable, and correctable. May they walk in divine alignment in Your will every day. Give us an all-consuming passion for evangelism.
Wisdom, Faith & Direction Lord, give them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Let their faith not fail. Let their confidence in You grow stronger day by day. Make straight paths for their feet, and let them hear Your voice clearly saying, “This is the way, walk ye in it.” Protect them from wrong decisions, deceitful people, and traps of the enemy. You are Jehovah-Raah, The Lord our Shepherd and I ask You to lead them. You said Your sheep hear Your voice, may they hear Your voice and follow it.
Deliverance from Evil Lord, just as Jesus taught us to pray, I ask You to deliver them from evil—every evil plan, every evil spirit, every evil person, and every evil work. I declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment is condemned. Break every yoke, remove every burden, and shut every door the enemy has tried to open in their lives. Remove anything or any person who hinders them from Your plan and destiny for their lives. Keep them from sin and every weight that holds them back.
Deliverance & Freedom I declare over them that every bondage is broken in the Name of Jesus. I Jesus’ Name I command demonic chains of addiction, fear, oppression, depression, suicide, and generational curses to go! Be destroyed by the anointing. I bind every evil spirit & loosen them from every evil assignment against them. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty, and I decree that liberty reigns in their lives every day.
Healing & Health Lord, You are Jehovah Rapha—the Lord our Healer. Heal them today. I speak life and health into their bodies. From the top of their head to the soles of their feet, let Your healing virtue flow. I rebuke every sickness, infirmity, chronic condition, and pain. Let their youth be renewed like the eagle’s. I thank You for wholeness in spirit, soul, and body.
Provision & Prosperity Father, You are Jehovah Jireh—the Lord our Provider. I declare that every need is met according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Reveal the path of generosity, sowing, giving, and tithing so they can be supernaturally blessed financially. Give them good jobs with excellent pay and benefits. Give them promotions, raises, bonuses, open doors, and divine opportunities. Cause their businesses to grow, and investments to prosper. May they have increased sales, tips and commissions. I declare debts canceled, bills paid, and abundance released. I speak the blessing of the Lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow to it. Thank You for breaking the curse of poverty and lack off them. Give them increased and unexpected finances, land, houses, goods and services. Let the windows of heaven open over them, pouring out blessings they have no room to contain.
Right Connections & Protection from Wrong Ones Father, divinely connect them to the right people who will encourage their faith, sharpen their walk, and help them fulfill their calling. At the same time, remove every wrong connection, ungodly influence, and relationship that would pull them away from Your will. Give them favor with business, political, governmental, educational, community and spiritual leaders.
Protection & Safety I plead the blood of Jesus over every person, every household, and every possession. Assign Your angels to encamp around them and deliver them from all harm. Keep them safe from accidents, violence, theft, natural disasters, and every scheme of the enemy. May no evil befall them, neither shall any plague come near their dwelling. Cause legal and professional matters to be settled and resolved in their favor. May angels cause things to work out in their favor. Protect our schools and students from violence, bullying, and secular evil influences.
Strength & Endurance Lord, strengthen them with might by Your Spirit in their inner man. Let the joy of the Lord be their strength. Help them run and not be weary, walk and not faint. Let them mount up with wings like eagles, overcoming every obstacle with faith and patience. I pray their faith not fail. Give them mental strength and soundness of mind.
Family, Marriage & Relationships Lord, bless their marriages with unity, love, forgiveness, and faithfulness. I declare that no weapon formed against their home will prosper. I speak peace and joy over their households and blessing over their children. May their children have good behavior. For those believing for a spouse, bring them the right godly person in the right time. For those believing for children, bless the fruit of their womb. Let their households serve the Lord with gladness. May their homes be joyful, peaceful, and happy. Deliver every home from drama, strife and fighting. Fill them with laughter and peace.
Church Family & Ministry Father, thank You for the unity of this body; make us of one heart and one mind, serving You with joy. Deliver us from mindsets of paranoia, suspicion, unfounded assumptions, and overreacting. Let no strife, gossip, slander, or fighting ever be found among us. Expose and uproot every wrong motive and agenda and help us to gravitate toward peace and reconciliation. Help us to resolve disagreements and conflict in love and in a spirit of restoration. Help us to be patient with each other, loving and long-suffering as new believers and immature Christians mature and grow. Lord, when those who are immature act immaturely, help those of us who are mature to respond maturely; when others act in the flesh, may we respond in the Spirit and in love. Help us to disciple the new believers well. Give us discernment to recognize and divide between those who are simply immature and growing and those who refuse to mature, continue to cause problems, and seek division. Lord, separate the wheat from the tares and remove the wolves from among the sheep. Concerning those who gossip, slander, and cause division, drama, and problems, may they quickly mature and repent or be removed from Journey Church. May those who spread rumors, lies, and trouble repent, or be exposed and removed, so that Your peace, unity, and holiness may prevail in this house.
Let every ministry of this church be fruitful and Spirit-filled. Let Your presence mark every service, every outreach, and every gathering. Use us to bring revival to our community and let the gospel be preached with power. Increase signs, wonders, and miracles, and the supernatural among us and in every service. May the gifts of the Holy Spirit operate in every service and in every life as the Spirit wills. Send laborers into the harvest in every area of our church and ministry. May we be fully furnished unto every good work. Help us to grow in numbers and maturity. Give us an unstoppable passion and focus for the Great Commission. Helper us to be doers and not just hearers of the word. Lord send laborers into every department and every ministry of the church.
Father, I thank You that this prayer is heard in heaven and answered on earth. I call it done, sealed, and established in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Daily Pastoral Prophetic Declaration
In the Name of Jesus, I bless the people of this church, the flock God has entrusted to my care. I declare salvation over every lost and backslidden loved one. They are coming into the Kingdom today. I declare they are rooted in God’s Word, strong in faith, and walking in His perfect will.
Every plan of the enemy is destroyed. They are delivered from all evil—spirit, soul, and body. Every chain is broken; every burden is lifted; every curse is canceled by the blood of Jesus. They are healed, whole, and strong from the top of their head to the soles of their feet.
Provision is theirs. Every need is met, every debt is canceled, and the blessing of the Lord overtakes them.
They walk in wisdom, favor, discernment, and divine direction. They are surrounded by the right people and separated from the wrong ones.
They are baptized in the Holy Ghost and fire, walking in power, love, and boldness. Revival burns in their hearts, their homes, and our church. They walk in peace, hope and strong faith. They are full of joy and laughter and stress free. They are mentally and spiritually mature and longsuffering with those who are still maturing.
They walk in the full revelation of their covenant.
Their marriages are blessed, their families are whole, their children serve the Lord. The joy of the Lord is their strength, and their faith will not fail.
Angels guard them. No evil shall befall them.
I declare this is a people who prospers in all things and are in health, even as their soul prospers. I bless them in the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.
